Vein Program

Welcome to the Vascular Surgery Vein Program at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center.

NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia has long enjoyed a reputation for excellence for its expertise in treating cardiac and vascular disorders. With the establishment of the Vascular Surgery Vein Program in 2010, the hospital's vascular services have been fully completed such that disorders of the heart, the arteries, and now the veins are all treated with our same expert level of care. We are very pleased to offer patients the full spectrum of therapies for venous diseases, from cosmetic concerns about spider veins, symptomatic varicose veins, and venous ulcers to life-threatening complications such as those associated with deep vein thrombosis.

This web site is intended to provide useful information to patients and families about vein disease and the range of therapeutic options currently available at our program. If you have concerns about any form of vein disease, we encourage you to call for a consultation. We look forward to working with you to restore and maintain your vascular health and well-being.
