Outcomes Assessment in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery

Outcome studies of cleft lip and palate, craniofacial, and breast reconstruction patients have been completed which showed a very high level of patient satisfaction. Areas examined included amount of time spent by the doctor with the patient, explanation of treatment issues and what to expect pre-and postoperatively, satisfaction with overall care received, and satisfaction with postoperative appearance.
