Rectal Prolapse

Rectal prolapse is another common problem that can result from stress during childbirth, chronic constipation, or in rare cases, genetic predisposition. Rectal prolapse occurs when a portion of the bowel sinks into the rectal cavity causing many of the same symptoms as hemorrhoids.
