Advanced Preceptorship
Dr. Ortega invites wound care specialists to attend an advanced preceptorship course to further enhance their wound healing education.
This 15 CME accredited course utilizes lectures, manuscripts, surgical observation, and clinical time to detail an integrated set of wound healing procedures, techniques, therapies, and, most importantly, outcomes.
The one-and-a-half day advanced preceptorship takes place at the Columbia University Wound Healing Center in New York City. During the advanced preceptorship, Dr. Ortega will focus on teaching the practical clinical application of all wound healing principles and treatment protocols.
The knowledge garnered from this program will both improve individual patient outcomes and help to create a standard of care that will promote the repair and healing of all chronic wounds.
Because of the practical and interactive nature of the course, size will be limited to a maximum 4 participants per program.
