During your time off prepare for surgical procedures, read for preceptor group, study for the exam. Students are assigned presentations for preceptor group and also for their team's conferences. These should typically involve some research into the problem being presented and a powerpoint presentation is usually indicated for a major presentation. Be guided by your preceptor or senior residents' instructions.
