After 5 years of service, Dr. James Chandler stepped down as Editor of the John Jones Surgical Society newsletter. A new position — Recorder of the Society was created to replace the role of editor. Starting 2012, the John Jones Surgical Society newsletter will be produced as an e-newsletter. News from alumni around the country as well as within the Department of Surgery at Columbia will continue to be featured.
