Barbara Mastroddi, CMP
Events Coordinator

Barbara works with the External Affairs events team, planning and managing Department of Surgery events including medical conferences, Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses, round tables, and receptions. Before coming to Columbia, Barbara was Program Manager of CME at Beth Israel Medical Center, where she assisted the department director with all CME-related logistics for symposia and conferences. Previously, she was Associate for Events and Communications at the Center to Advance Palliative Care, a grant-funded program run via the Department of Geriatrics at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Barbara is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and is an active member the Greater New York Chapter of Meeting Professionals International, where she serves as Co-Chair of the Metrolines Committee.
