Ju-Mei Shieh
Web Manager
Ju-mei manages the Department of Surgery website, columbiasurgery.org, and programs all of its content.
Before coming to External Affairs, she worked as a web designer with the Columbia University Web Design Studio.
Ju-mei is versed numerous web technologies including AJAX interactive web application script, the MySQL database management system, and multiple programming languages.
She holds an MFA in Integrated Electronic Arts from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, and earned her BA at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she pursued a joint major in Communications and Media Studies, focusing on digital arts.
